More than just a closing night, the arrival of Yuri Buenaventura is a celebration of friendship. A regular guest at Château l’Hospitalet, where he planted an olive tree as a symbol of fraternity, the singer-songwriter and performer returns "home" with his monumental creation "Amame". Accompanied by an exceptional ensemble of 14 musicians and dancers, the Prince of Salsa delivers a spectacular tribute to the golden age of New York Latin rhythms. YURI BUENAVENTURA
Yuri Buenaventura, the famous Colombian musician renowned notably for his magnificent rendition of “Ne me quitte pas”, released his latest album “Amame” in 2024, produced by Vivienne Music Label.
He describes this album as “a musical dream, a tribute to New York Latin music”, blending pop melodies with urban percussion accompanied by brass, brought to life through the fusion of virtuoso musicians gathered for the occasion.
Salsa was born right there between Brooklyn and Harlem, at the intersection of brass and jazz poetry! The music sets our emotions dancing and makes us vibrate.
A closing evening that promises to be rich in emotion.
