PREMIUM WINE TASTING FROM THE SOUTH OF FRANCE
Our wine experts are at your disposal to introduce you to an incredible diversity of premium cuvées from the terroir of Languedoc-Roussillon: red, white and rosé wines, orange wines, as well as Crémants de Limoux and Clairette d'Adissan, naturally sweet wines... for exceptional horizontal and vertical tastings.
The Gérard Bertrand boutique is the ideal place to discover the terroirs of Languedoc-Roussillon: La Clape, witness to the Château's history for several millennia; Corbières-Boutenac, home to Château de Villemajou Grand Vin, the genesis of the Bertrand family's story, where it all began; Languedoc Cabrières, cradle of rosé wines under Louis XIV, and many other equally prestigious appellations.

ORGANIC AND BIODYNAMIC WINES
Placing nature at the heart of everything has always been a strong commitment for Gérard Bertrand.
In biodynamics, he found a true philosophy of life, in which the winegrower is part of the world around them. The winegrower cares for the land in order to strengthen it, rather than exhaust it.
The wines of the Gérard Bertrand estates are thus the result of work across nearly 1,000 hectares of vineyards in the Occitanie region, cultivated using natural methods, without pesticides or chemical fertilisers.
Choosing this method of cultivation is neither the simplest nor the easiest path, yet from this demanding labour come exceptional wines, in keeping with the desire to contribute to a better world.
In addition to receiving the Organic Agriculture and Demeter (Biodynamic) certifications, many wines also bear the "Bee Friendly" label, which aims to protect bees and other pollinators.

SINGLE-PARCEL WINES
Some estates and châteaux possess, within their very own grounds, vineyard plots blessed with an extraordinary location, owing to their geographical position and the composition of their soil. These exceptional vineyard parcels are set apart from the rest of the estate to produce exceptional wines: these are single-parcel wines.
All Gérard Bertrand estates produce several single-parcel wines:
- La Forge
- Le Viala
- L’Hospitalitas
- L’Aigle Royal (Pinot Noir & Chardonnay)
Produced in very limited quantities, these premium wines come from parcels of old vines with exceptional topography, microclimate and exposure, creating unique wines that reveal the soul of their terroir.

OLD VINTAGES
The Château l’Hospitalet wine cellar houses, within its oenothèque, a collection of 19 vintages of naturally sweet wines dating from 1977 to 1875, from a range of terroirs: Rivesaltes, Banyuls and Maury.
These tawny wines, with exceptional ageing potential, are here at the height of their expression:
- Maury embodies the raw power of the Roussillon terroir.
- Banyuls reveals the finesse and elegance of the Mediterranean.
- Rivesaltes, originating from a larger region, offers remarkable freedom in its creation
